I was flown out to the Netherlands by JUMP freerunning to make the official video for the 4 The Love of Movement jam for the second year running. This time around, they really grew the event, with a HUGE indoor setup. We also got to spend some time at the Freeflow gym and in Amsterdam too, and the experience was absolutely fantastic. Canon approached me to be an influencer for its new Camera, the PowerShot G3X. I flew out to Istanbul with Ampisound athlete Neil Cointet for a few days to appear in a promotional film for the product. They were a super awesome company to work with for the shoot, making sure to keep it as authentic as possible, putting me in my own clothes and ensuring to have me use my own words in the film. The G3X really does have some amazing features, especially the zoom range (24-600 equivalent), and I am hyped to have been able to represent a product and company I really believe in. I've been shooting with Canon cameras for a long time so to have them supporting Parkour and by proxy myself is truly awesome. ** Leave a comment and tell us if you could make a video in 12 hours!** MSI challenged us to shoot and edit a parkour video in half a day. We grabbed five of the best Parkour athletes in the UK at the time and met up for 9 AM at Archway in London. 12 hours later, we watched the finished project, including the editing and colour grading. It was important that we did this challenge for real, and everybody on the team pulled it out of the bag! The Prestige 15 laptop absolutely smashed the edit, and having a laptop than can playback 4K 60fps footage with effects on top is amazing. It all went wrong! We have wanted to collab on a Parkour video with Charlie for a long time, and finally we got together to film something in Cardiff. Gym parkour videos are not the most exciting but Charlie had a lot of sick lines planned out and we filmed a lot of them, with the concept of a black and white video. On the second day, he injured his ankle and wouldn't be able to finish the video. Luckily for us, Phil Doyle was in the building...
