Visa Parviainen is a Finish skydiver and adventurer. He flies the Stealth2 a high performance wingsuit designed by Robert Pecnik of phoenix-fly.com. The suit allows skydivers and B.A.S.E. jumpers to turn their fall into a glide. With the aid of Dutch company AMT Jets, he constructed a pair of jet-boots that allowing him to fly his wingsuit without loss of altitude, and even climb at a rate of 1 meter per second. Watch as Visa experiments during jumps from balloons and airplanes, and makes the dream of human flight real in most spectacular fashion! phoenix-fly.com editing: Jarno Cordia airrebels.com
During July 2012 Phoenix-Fly organised the 2nd Artistic Flight Meet at Moorsele, Belgium. After the first spontaneous meeting last year at Schaffen (see vimeo.com/28060095) the decision was made to repeat the event and build on what was accomplished. Spike Harper and Jarno Cordia organised a small group of experienced wingsuit pilots and set up a number of multi-point formations. Spike flew base on the jumps in the Phoenix-Fly Shadow while Jarno carved around the formation in his Phoenix-Fly Havok. Check out this short teaser for a longer video coming soon.
