Mains Precieuses - Nude and golden beige, tulle cocktail dress embroidered with golden threads and orange flowers from the GEORGES HOBEIKA Haute Couture Spring Summer 2018.
The GEORGES HOBEIKA Haute Couture bridal creation for Fall-Winter 17/18 is crafted in palatial proportions, embroidered to perfection with floral appliques and a thousand Swarovski crystals.
Bringing together the precious essence of creativity and the ease of incomparable craftsmanship, GEORGES HOBEIKA infuses into his Fall-Winter 2016-17 Haute Couture collection the virtue of peace contained in heavenly lanterns flying high into the starry evening and spreading, in a bright twinkle, their message of love and harmony. This symbol of hope is expressed by the vivid glow of a spectacular blossom that feeds a cloud of delicate lace. Sometimes carved out of shantung silk; sometimes composed of crystals and pearls in generous volume, the lotus flowers display the opulence of their foliage on fine fabrics - metallic lace, organza embroidered with silk, gazar and crepe – and communicate a deep impression of cheerfulness and unity.
Delicate and refined, Maison GEORGES HOBEIKA’s Spring-Summer 2018 Haute Couture collection finds its inspiration in Greek civilization‘s ancient magnificence. This collection is a tribute to the richness of that culture and to the variety of its heritage, whose influence continues to exercise its irresistible seductions on humanity.
Intended as a celebration of Maison Georges Hobeika’s savoir-faire, this joyful collection showcases the importance of the relationships and interactions between family and friends. Underlying this concept is the familial collaboration between Co-Creative Directors Georges and Jad Hobeika, and the powerful link with the house’s archives and ateliers. The collection also highlights the importance of a support network, and the people who bring us together in everyday life.
