The procedures shown in this video apply to ALL make and model cars. When you understand circuit designs like the 5v reference and sensor ground paths, these types of problems are very easy to identify. The problem on this Audi was revealed within the main sensor circuits (MAP and TPS etc) and was quickly narrowed down to a main computer ground problem. Here is the original video this was pulled from https://youtu.be/fp_XZm-8nrA Related Videos: - Poor running, flashing CEL, no codes (bad computer ground) https://youtu.be/44dP6X3QS5A - Low Fuel Pressure from a bad fuel pump ground https://youtu.be/rQ7tvIxQSt0 - MAF sensor trouble code (P0102) caused by a bad ground https://youtu.be/bJRLZnjS6ms - Engine does not crank (bad block ground) ScannerDanner Tools: https://www.scannerdanner.com/tools.html https://www.amazon.com/shop/scannerdanner For more information on this topic, I have written a “field manual” called Engine Performance Diagnostics which is available at www.scannerdanner.com as an eBook or paper book. The procedure shown in this video can be applied to both electronic throttle control (ETC) and cable controlled throttle bodies. The vehicle being worked on is a 2009 Chevy Silverado. Variations in scan tool used and system design will affect how an idle relearn procedure is completed, after the throttle body service. Every manufacturer is different on how this relearn is done.
