With enough snow on the ground, you can execute a ski launch and add another dimension of awesome to you local flying site. The ski launch can be tough on anything other than a zero-wind day - the most important factor is the glider coming up straight. A critical layout, plus a few other tips can help - but know that ski launching will result in an opts every now and then.
