I LOVE this iPad stand made with copper pipe! This tablet stand doesn t require any power tools and only takes about 1 hour or less. It s easy to cut copper pipes with a small copper tube cutter, and secure the pieces together using some basic clear glue. Let it dry overnight. You can also use this as a book stand or a cookbook stand for the kitchen. If you can connect a keyboard to your iPad or tablet, you can create a workstation anywhere in your home with your tablet stand and keyboard. //MATERIALS// (affiliate links) Copper tube cutter - Amazon - https://amzn.to/2ZBHIvK Clear glue - https://amzn.to/2NyWYDr //BLOG POST// Written tutorial is coming soon! I decided to try hanging lights using Sugru, a moldable glue that dries in 24 hrs, to hold a strand of rope lights on the brick on my front porch! I love how this DIY porch makeover for fall turned out! When I had my 16 x26 shed built, I knew it would need garden beds so that it would blend into the backyard nicely. While the shed looks great, it was BORING on the outside without any personality! I ve been working so much on the interior of the shed that it finally felt good to have nice weather and pretty plants and flowers to make the outside ready for spring and summer!! The wall stencil in this bathroom can be found here: http://bit.ly/pretty-stencil (affiliate link). Our toilet was too small and short and I wanted to install a toilet that was higher and at a more comfortable height. Removing and installing a toilet is an easy DIY project that a homeowner can do in 1-2 hours (or less) by themselves, depending on the weight of the toilet. Watch this video and learn how to make your toilet installation go smoothly. A big thanks for American Standard for sponsoring the complimentary toilet for this tutorial! ****NOTE: In the video, I caulked the toilet. I have not caulked other toilets, but I decided to caulk this one per instructions in a Handyman article that suggested it. Many have noted NOT to caulk so that leaks can easily be detected. I would agree now, years later, that I would likely not caulk again. Skip the caulk. And there have been no leaks, by the way. ;) //MATERIALS// (affiliate links included) American Standard Toilet: https://thriftdiving.com/toilet Bucket with a cup for removing excess water Gloves Towels Screwdriver Waxless toilet seal - https://homedepot.sjv.io/e5qmZ Wax toilet seal (optional) - https://homedepot.sjv.io/qLAPq Ratchet and socket wrench (optional) Hack saw (optional, for removing rusted bolts or cutting down long bolts) //BATHROOM WEEK// Catch up with my other bathroom videos! (This family room makeover was sponsored by Wagner). I hadn t bought new furniture in 18 years. I hadn t painted my family room in 5 years! The furniture was sad and dark, and the walls were a dirty cream-color that needed a refresh. I also had to repair the wood flooring and change some loose receptacles (outlets). There are still more things that I ll be doing in this family room over the next week, including finishing the coffee table and making some DIY art work.
