https://thriftdiving.com - Ceiling fan lights can be repurposed into candle holders when turned upside down. I built the platform with wood and created holes to sit the ceiling fan lights down into the holes, then wrapped the base of them with jute. http://www.thriftdiving.com - When I was 6 years old, I wanted to be a cab driver. Then an artist at 8. At 12, I wanted to be a writer. Now, at 36, I want to be a blogger. Scratch that--I AM a blogger. Each conference I attend, I get better. My blog grows. I get one step closer to NOT being that lazy 6 year old. http://www.thriftdiving.com - Two reasons I don t recommend LifeProof iPhone 5s cases: 1) they easily crack, and 2) the rubber around the screen is likely to wear down and peel off. Although you may like the slim feature of the LifeProof cases, the fact that they don t hold up well is reason enough to look elsewhere. My recommendation: research other cases that are comparable and don t spend your money on this case.

My refrigerator caused a water leak from my kitchen down into the basement. I m embarrassed to admit that I left the large hole in the ceiling for three years before I patched it. If you had a water leak, too, that damaged your drywall but aren t sure how to fix the drywall, this tutorial will help the everyday homeowner how to fix it themselves without paying the expensive costs for a handy-person or contractor! My ceiling is a textured ceiling, so my repair is specific to that type of ceiling, but these instructions can be used for smooth or textured ceilings. http://www.ThriftDiving.com - My family room makeover is underway, and my 3-year-old helped me paint! We used Behr paint in Bayberry Frost. I m thinking that the second coat needs to be lighter since my family room doesn t get a lot of sunlight. But at least getting the first coat up was super fun with my little guy! http://www.ThriftDiving.com - This DIY desk makeover features a thrift store desk I found for only $11.00! It sat in my garage for three years (yikes!) until I was inspired to work on it. Here s how I hand-panted leaves on the drawers, with Royal stencil creme over Annie Sloan Emporer s Silk. I love it now!
BUY Steam Machine HERE (affiliate link): http://amzn.to/2t9VtSi I had no idea that I could use my Steam Machine steam cleaner to clean out my van! It s been a game-changer for cleaning my toilets and tile, so it shouldn t be surprising that it got my console, rugs, and floor mats clean. Hubby always tells me to take the van to pay someone to clean it out for us, but if I can "DIY" everything else, why not "DIY" cleaning out my van? PROS: Perfect for cleaning dried food or stains from the rug, mats, and console; lightweight so I could move it around easily (I used an extension cord but just make sure that you keep the cords away from water), with a full tank of distilled water, I could go for about 45 minutes before needing to refill. Works great on upholstery, too! I have leather in my van but used it on my sofa and it did a great job of loosening dirt from my kids. CONS: None! I have been using my Steam Machine for a couple years now and it doesn t have any drawbacks to note! On the windows, however, I d probably be less likely to use the squeegee attachment because I love using microfiber towels for windows. But it still works well on windows if that s how you want to use it. #thriftdiving #ad *************** Check out my Project Gallery: https://thriftdiving.com/projects?utm_campaign=Social-Media&utm_medium=Description&utm_source=YouTube Subscribe to my mailing list for 5 additional freebies: https://thriftdiving.com/subscribe?utm_campaign=Social-Media&utm_medium=Description&utm_source=YouTube *************** BLOG: https://thriftdiving.com EMAIL: serena@thriftdiving.com FACEBOOK: https://www.facebook.com/thriftdiving PINTEREST: https://www.pinterest.com/thriftdiving INSTAGRAM: https://www.instagram.com/thriftdiving TWITTER: https://www.twitter.com/thriftdiving SNAPCHAT: https://www.snapchat.com/add/thriftdiving THRIFT DIVING TEE-SHIRTS: https://thriftdiving.com/shop *************** MAILING ADDRESS: Serena Appiah P.O.
