In recent years, the reputation of the Ford Mustang has been unfairly linked to the judgement and driving prowess of the people that own them. Just as an M3 is not a vehicle with no turn signals, and Cummins trucks to not come with trailer hitch testes from the factory, neither are Mustangs designed by the factory to crash into curbs. Let s go back to 2008, when Mustangs were known as crowd pleasers rather than crowd killers, and the new Shelby variant was the most pleasing of all. Back then, the highest horsepower Challenger made 425 horsepower and Camaro, mm, was not in production. The GT500 dominated the market, and for a while was truly once again, King of the Road.
