A quick view of the tools used to remove the knock sensor on a 1998 Nissan Maxima without removing the intake manifold. The sensor is located fairly deep under the intake and can be difficult to remove and replace. I share in this video how I got the job done, quick and easy with some small hand help! Most times the knock sensor code will only be realized when using a scanner to detect there is an issue. I was scanning for an unrelated problem when i found code P0325. The check engine light was NOT on indicating a problem. I did here some very minor pinging from time to time before the fix.
