Spa Day For Max

Max had his nails done earlier this week and his shower Saturday. He is all cleaned up and happy as can be. Now hopefully it can be a relaxing Sunday for us.... maybe. *As always stated: this is the ONLY way Max all shower. I have tried every single possible way you can think of. It works for him, so it s what we do. The hair dryer is teflon free (TEFLON WILL KILL A BIRD WHEN USED AROUND THEM) The hair dryer is on warm and only used for the noise and to keep him warm while spraying. He dries naturally afterwards so his skin and feathers absorb the moisture. I use plan spring water in the bottle. Water is at room temperature. When we are done I have to wipe the entire cage, walls, stands, and every other surface dry in his room. This process is done once a week normally and can take several hours.
