COMEBACK After Head Gasket Job?? (Honda Civic -Part1)

This clapped out 2003 Honda Civic has been around the block several times at 280k miles. But with ever rising gas prices, the owner wants to get more miles out of it. After a head gasket replacement, the car drove great and the customer picked it up. However, driving back home over the mountain, the car suddenly lost power and the Check Engine light came on.
