Roots’ 16” Quad Cities Taco Pizza Challenge in Chicago, Illinois!! Thanks everyone for watching this live-streamed food challenge video!! A few weekends ago, I was invited down to Chicago, Illinois to help kick off the new Fifty/50 Ultimate Eating Challenge at The Fifty/50. The restaurant group also owns 4 Roots Handmade Pizza locations, so this weekend they invited @KatinaEatsKilos and I down to Chicago to help them kick off their 16" Quad Cities Taco Pizza Challenge at their Roots Handmade Pizza - South Loop location. I had 1 hour to finish their 16" Quad Cities style Taco Pizza!! Quad Cities style pizza has a delicious malt in the crust and it is cut in half and then a scissors is used to cut the pizza into long slices. Their Taco Pizza had over 22oz of delicious crust topped with over 1lb of seasoned ground plus healthy lettuce, tomatoes, and a whole bunch of taco chips. I added some hot taco sauce on top. The pizza came with an order of Spinach Artichoke Dip with freshly baked pita chips plus 5 huge mozzarella sticks and a slice of Fruity Pebbles Cheesecake made by their sister restaurant West Town Bakery. I was trying to win my $60 pizza challenge meal free, a sweet t-shirt, and the first spot on the Wall of Fame!!
