Most of us, for all our daydreaming and late night Forza binges, will never know the feeling of being really, really fast. Let alone being hired to be fast. This is an honor typically reserved for racecar drivers. But as our friend Kyle Marcelli explains, being a wheelman for a professional sports car racing team is harder than he makes it look. Like so many things, racing has come to revolve around the bottom line. And in a country where interest in motorsports ranks far below our national fascination with inflatable balls, the bottom line is more significant than ever. Despite this, Kyle has spent the last decade-and-a-half of his life making racecar driving work, and as such, has some interesting insight into the process.
