A&Z #1071 - Professional eater Randy Santel versus 1889 Pizza Napoletana s Massive Wood Fired Neapolitan Pizza Challenge hosted by 1889 Pizza Napoletana in Kansas City, Kansas!! I finished up my dietetic internship on May 19th, 2022 and @KatinaEatsKilos and I knew we were leaving for Dublin, Ireland on June 7, 2022 to begin our international travel plans. Before leaving, we wanted to attempt 12 food challenges around 6 midwestern USA states. For event #6 of 12, we headed to Kansas City, Kansas so we could each attempt and help kick off the new Kansas City s Own Massive Wood Fired Neapolitan Pizza Challenge hosted by 1889 Pizza Napoletana. Owners Jason and Kelli Kolich offer 12 different signature Neapolitan pizza pies on their menu, and I had 1 hour to eat 6 of them, weighing around 6.5lbs/3kg total. Katina chose 6 for her food challenge and I ordered the other 6 for my eating challenge. I was trying to become the first champion to win my $89.89 Italian pizza meal free plus a sweet t-shirt and spot on the Wall of Fame!!
