European Chocolate Bonbons and Italian Gelato Challenge!!

Randy Santel vs the "Almost But Not Quite" European Chocolate Bonbons and Italian Gelato Adventure "Challenge" hosted by the Ames, Iowa location of Chocolaterie Stam in Ames, Iowa which is the home of Iowa State University. After dropping off @KatinaEatsKilos at the Des Moines, Iowa airport, I headed up to Ames, Iowa to begin my official Midwest USA Food Challenge Tour. I visited the Ames, Iowa location of Chocolaterie Stam and took on their specially made up for me, "Almost But Not Quite" European Chocolate Bonbons and Italian Gelato Adventure "Challenge" which was so delicious!! I had a one sitting to finish 68 different bonbons made with 40 different fillings. 28 of the fillings came with a milk chocolate option and a dark chocolate option. Along with the 68 chocolate bonbons, I also enjoyed small portions of each of the 16 different Italian gelato flavors they offered that day. I was trying to finish everything to win my chocolates and gelato free plus a sweet t-shirt. Over time, Stam s family bakery developed a reputation for quality pastries and chocolates. - There are now 10 Chocolaterie Stam locations in the United States, including one in Ames, Iowa. - Thanks to owners Terry and Anne for having me in to promote their bonbons and Italian gelato. - This was filmed like a "Dinner Is Served" video since this is not an ongoing public food challenge. - Chocolaterie Stam offers European chocolate bonbons with 40 different fillings. The bonbons mostly consist of Belgian chocolate made in the traditional Dutch way. - 28 of the fillings had a milk chocolate option and a dark chocolate option, so there were 68 total. - They serve 16 different Italian Gelato flavors at a time, switching up the options every few days. - With the bonbons, I enjoyed small servings of each of the 16 gelato flavors available that day. - I had a one sitting time limit to finish everything, in order to win my meal free and a sweet t-shirt.
