Wild Turkey - Off Grid Survival Food | Living Off the Land at the Log Cabin
Spring is wild turkey season and the time to start harvesting food from the land for survival at the off grid cabin. My wife and I cook wild turkey for two meals, - braised turkey in the earthen oven and fried turkey fingers with homemade sauerkraut, homemade raw milk fresh cheese on bannock fried on the woodstove. I cut wing feathers for fletching on a set of arrows I m making now that I m renewing my passion for traditional archery. I finish the day planting spinach in the garden and fertilize with milk whey and ashes from the woodstove. Thanks for watching! New videos every FRIDAY. Please subscribe.
