TROUBLE IN THE MALDIVES | The Dark Side of Paradise

I arrived on the island of Dhiffushi in the Maldives, which had been recommended to me as a beautiful island to visit. But it wasn t at all what I was expecting. The beaches were covered with garbage, there were almost no tourists and not many locals, there were ugly abandoned buildings, unfinished construction projects and piles of garbage and building materials scattered all over the island. I sincerely wanted to enjoy my time there, but it was in a rough state and so I had to be honest about that in the video. I ended up leaving Dhiffushi a day early and going to a five star resort on a private island, which I will show in the next video.
