BOTFLY EXTRACTION TRAVEL VLOG | Is it a zit, cyst, or blackhead? Worse...

For those of you who love pimple popping, blackheads, whiteheads and acne on YouTube... this botfly extraction vlog is for you 😂 While travelling in Central America, a little pimple popped up on my wrist. I honestly didn t think anything of it, and continued my travels to Bangkok Thailand. 5 weeks later, and after many attempts at popping it myself, I thought I would head to the hospital to see a dermatologist and see if it really was a blackhead, cyst, zit, pimple, or what. It wasn t. Any of those. It was a botfly larvae. Fun! This parasitic fly lays a small egg on a little cut on your skin. If you travel in the jungle, you know that you are always covered in cuts. This then hatches very shortly after, and a little maggot burrows in your skin. 2 to 3 months later, you birth a fully grown botfly out of the wound, who going on to repeat the process in someone else.
