Can I Beat the Snow? | OFF GRID Log Cabin Sauna Ep8 | Canadian Wilderness
#logcabin #offgrid #canada The snow has temporarily melted, but can I beat the return of the snow and get the walls of the log cabin sauna high enough that deep snow won t effect the build? I m getting into a rhythm and I m able to notch and prepare at least one log per hour. The problem is, the days are short and we ve been getting cold rain almost every day so I m having a hard time getting much done. The weather forecasters are predicting a cold week coming up, with a lot of snow, so I have to continue raising the log walls while also managing my tools and building materials so that I don t lose them or have them frozen to the ground under the snow. Working on the log cabin alone in the Canadian wilderness is exhausting and I could use the bathhouse now. I m really looking forward to firing up the wood fired heater in the sauna after a long day of chopping firewood or snowshoeing through the forest in pursuit of dinner. Thanks for watching!
