I love having plants in my living room but space is limited in the container house so I made a DIY planter and side table combination out of some leftover pieces of plywood and steel. In this video I will focus on a version that requires welding but will also show how a similar structure could be built without welding. I used ¼” steel rod, 1”x 1/8” flat steel bar and 3/4” maple veneer plywood. The plant is a Fiddle Leaf Fig that bought with the pot from Home Depot.
