Showcase Awor Aki - Summer Dance Forever 2017

Showcase during House Dance Forever battle Saturday 19 August 2017 Awor Aki is a short showcase preview of a full performance by choreographer Junadry Leocaria (NL). She has worked as a professional dancer for over 10 years for amongst others ISH and Don’t Hit Mama and is part of all-female-crew Femme Lethal and House of Vineyard. Waacking is her speciality, which shines through in this showcase. Awor Aki is about self acceptance, about how to deal with setbacks and growing from your mistakes. Dancers are: Elsa Mulder, Iara Raiane Groothuis, Kelly Bigirindavyi, Merci Liesem, Tamara Robledo and Wendy De Vries. Summer Dance Forever is an inner city urban dance festival where dancers from around the world gather in the city of Amsterdam, each year in August. Seven days to enjoy an international dance feast, packed with the best of today and the great promises of tomorrow. Organized in several venues around town, expect a great variety of dance performances, next level battles and workshops to refresh and boost your skills.
