In February 1998 a group of white parents went on the rampage armed with batons beating and attacking black students. In the resulting frenzy a white boy was stabbed by his black classmate Andrew Babeile. The school was closed. The parents were acquitted, whilst Babeile was sent to jail. Now a new Principal is helping to turn things around.
