6lb Oktoberfest Bratwurst Challenge w/ Bavarian Pretzel Bun!!

A&Z #885 - Randy Santel "Atlas" vs Bay Street Biergarten s 6lb Oktoberfest Bratwurst Challenge w/ a Bavarian Pretzel Bun at Bay Street Biergarten in downtown Charleston, South Carolina!! After leaving Atlanta, Georgia, I traveled back to the Charleston, South Carolina area so I could attempt two more challenges. For event #2, I traveled to the downtown area off East Bay Street and helped kick off a new food challenge at Bay Street Biergarten. As part of their month-long Oktoberfest celebration, they offered a 6lb "Kamikaze" Oktoberfest Bratwurst Challenge w/ a Bavarian pretzel bun plus 1 liter of Bavarian beer. I had 45 minutes to finish a 3.5lb smoked bratwurst sausage that was 4" thick x 12" long. It was served on a 1.5lb Bavarian pretzel bun with German macaroni and cheese, Brussels sprout coleslaw, sauerkraut, and more. Oktoberfest was sponsored by Devils Backbone Brewing Company, so I also had to finish 1 liter of their "Munchen On Hops" Bavarian IPA served in 2 pint-sized glasses.
