Closed Captioning provided by Rev Time Codes: ------------------------- Pimento Cheese - 1:24 Tomato Soup - 4:54 Grilled Cheese - 11:51 Recipe: ------------------------- Step 1: Taki Pimento Cheese 2 cups freshly grated cheddar cheese 1 brick of softened cream cheese ½ cup chopped pimento peppers 2 tablespoons mayo 1 teaspoon salt 1 teaspoon cayenne 1 teaspoon garlic powder ½ teaspoon onion powder ½ teaspoon pepper ½ teaspoon chili powder ⅔ cup Fuego Takis 1) Crush the Takis in a food processor. 2) Add all ingredients into the food processor and blend up. Allow to set up in the fridge for a few hours. Equipment Food processor 1 large bowl Silicone spatula Step 2: Nitro Takis Tomato Soup Ingredients 1 tablespoon neutral oil 1 diced onion 2 cloves garlic, minced 4 cups fresh tomato (cherry, heirloom, roma, all that good stuff) 2 teaspoons tomato paste 2 cups chicken broth 1 bunch fresh basil 1 tsp red pepper flakes ¾ cup Nitro Takis 2 tablespoons butter 1) Add oil to a large pot. 2) Add onion and garlic. 3) Sweat for 5 minutes. 4) Add tomato and tomato paste. 5) Cook down for an additional 10 minutes. 6) Add broth, basil, red pepper flakes and Takis. Cook for 20 minutes. 7) Blend with an immersion blender. 8) Strain through a fine mesh sieve. 9) Add butter. Equipment Large pot Immersion blender Step 3: Assemble Ingredients 2 slices sourdough bread (San Louis Obisbo) 2 beaten eggs 1 bag of Fuego Takis, crushed (placed in half sheet pan) 2 tablespoons butter 1 bag of Guacamole Takis 1 bag Blue Takos 2 slices pepper jack 1 serving Takis pimento cheese 1 pot finished soup 1) Take your slices of bread and dip them in the egg. 2) Dredge in the crushed Takis. 3) Add butter to a griddle on low temp. 4) Griddle the Takis bread until the eggs are cooked and the Takis are slightly browned, but not all the way. 5) Remove from the griddle. 6) Add pepperjack to each side of the bread. 7) Slather on some Takis pimento cheese. 8) Add lots of Guacamole Takis! 9) Smush the bread slices together. 10) Add more butter to the griddle. Griddle the sandwich until the cheese is melty and gorgeous. Serve with a bowl of soup. Add some blue Takis to the top. Equipment Griddle Metal spatula 2x half sheet pans Bowl for soup
