If the brake caliper pins don t slide properly then abnormal brake pad wear can happen. This will lead to changing the pads out early costing more time and money. In this video I show how to easily salvage the existing pin if it is frozen stuck. This usually occurs due to moisture getting in behind the boot and causing the pin to rust. Lack of lubrication and rust eventually causes the pin to stick or become "frozen". When the pin doesnt slide freely that is not a good thing. Thanks for checking out the video! Excessive heat can boil the grease and/or condensation behind the pin and cause it to shoot out like a bullet. Always take precautions and do not overheat.
