Extinction Rebellion Protests: "We Are Doing This For Those Who Don’t Have A Say In Their Future"

Extinction Rebellion have vowed to ‘step up’ action unless the Government responds to two demands on climate change. The collective specifications were: "For an immediate halt to all new coal, oil and gas exploration and set up emergency citizens assemblies to oversee a fair and people-led transition, centred on reparatory justice". The deadline for the demands was 24th April at 5pm, which has now expired.
