Extra CHEESY Grilled Cheese Sandwich Challenge!!

A&Z #899 - Randy Santel "Atlas" vs Cheesy Bob s Extra Cheesy "Meltdown" Gourmet Grilled Cheese Sandwich Challenge at Cheesy Bob Grilled Cheese in Florence, Alabama!! After attempting the "Powerhouse" Challenge at Frutta Bowls in Tuscaloosa, Alabama, I traveled north up to Florence, Alabama which is the home of The University of North Alabama. I helped my friends with Cheesy Bob Grilled Cheese kick off their brand new extra cheesy "Meltdown" Gourmet Grilled Cheese Sandwich Challenge served with garlic cheese curds and tomato soup. Cheesy Bob offers 6 different gourmet grilled cheese sandwiches on their menu. For this food challenge, there was a 45 minute time limit to finish 2 of each of the 5 main options, served with a bowl of homemade tomato soup and a side of garlic cheese curds. Everything was extra cheesy and so delicious!! I was trying to become the first person to win my $75 meal free, a sweet t-shirt, and a spot on the Wall of Fame. For this food challenge, there is a 45 minute time limit to finish 2 of each of the 5 main sandwich options: - FUNKY CLASSIC GRILLED CHEESE- Our super cheesy classic grilled cheese on our buttered sourdough with our Funky sauce (sweet and tangy). - SWEET APRICOT GRILLED CHEESE- Sweet and salty grilled cheese but not too sweet or fruity. Just Yummy and also on our buttered sourdough bread. - SMOKEHOUSE GRILLED CHEESE - Our version of a BBQ sandwich in grilled cheese form! Blends of Cheddar & Pepper Jack with sautéed onions, Bacon, and hickory BBQ Sauce on a Texas Toast. - PEPPERONI PIZZA GRILLED CHEESE - Blends of Mozzarella, Fontina, and Romano with layers of pepperoni & pizza sauce on garlic peppered sourdough bread. - HOT HAM & CHEESE GRILLED CHEESE - Layers of Provolone and Mozzarella with thinly sliced Tavern Ham, Dijon Mustard, and Pickles on Texas Toast. - The challenge comes with homemade tomato soup plus a 4oz side of Cheesy Bob s garlic cheese curds. - Winners receive the $75 grilled cheese meal free, a sweet t-shirt, and spot on Cheesy Bob s Wall of Fame.
