“It’s ABSOLUTE NONSENSE!” | Julia Hartley-Brewer Slams Welsh Govt Over Inclusive Flags

The Welsh Labour Government have reportedly ordered public buildings to fly flags celebrating asexual and “aromantic” people. TalkTV’s Julia Hartley-Brewer blasts the Welsh Govt: “It’s just a nonsense! The whole thing is an absolute nonsense. Aromantic and asexual - they’re not a thing, they are just ordinary people!" The flag plan is part of the LGBTQ+ Action Plan for Wales, published by the Labour-run Government. It states: “Appropriate flags raised in public sector buildings, particularly from underrepresented communities (eg bisexual; asexual; aromantic).” A Welsh Government spokesperson said: “We are proud to support LGBTQ+ communities as we work towards our ambition of making Wales the most LGBTQ+ friendly nation in Europe. “Raising appropriate flags on public sector buildings is one of the ways in which public bodies can show this support.” #talktv #talkradio
