Mega Curry Rice Challenge in Taipei, Taiwan vs 3 Competitive Eaters!!

A&Z #792 - Atlas, Raina Huang, Zermatt Neo, and 台灣大胃王丁丁/Ding-Ding each vs the Taiwanese Mega Curry Rice Challenge at Mikami Curry (三上咖哩) in Taipei, Taiwan. Back in mid-October 2019, my younger sister Shelley and I flew to Seoul, South Korea to kick-off a 3-country Asia trip, and then we headed to Hanoi, Vietnam. Finally, we visited Taipei, Taiwan where I attempted 4 delicious food challenges. For event #4, we traveled to Mikami Curry (三上咖哩) in Taipei, Taiwan where we met up with my competitive eating friends Raina Huang, Zermatt Neo, and 台灣大胃王丁丁/Ding-Ding who does food challenges all around Taiwan. All 4 of us each took on their Taiwanese Mega Curry Rice Challenge which was so delicious, with only a very short 20 minute time limit!! Each bowl had 1.3kg of white rice topped with curry sauce, a fried chicken cutlet, an egg yolk, and two pork juicy pork meats. There is an egg yolk on top and everything is smothered with Mikami Curry s delicious curry sauce. There is a 20 minute time limit to finish everything. Losers must pay for the $NT 500 meal (~$16.69 USD). Winners get their meal free and their name and photo gets posted up on the location s Wall of Fame.
