My friend Nathan showed me this Shangela remix on youtube and I knew immediately it had to be a big group number. I had to take out some parts and edit the music a lot, but omg this mix is everything! This number was always hard to rehearse because there were 30 dancers from ages 12-19 and we had such a small space to practice. However, it all came together in the end and this was the first time I actually got to see the dance performed full out on stage. I was completely blown away by the dancers and the crowd reaction -- full standing ovation. Even more surprising was our score for the competition. This dance along with our other dance "Manolo" (which you may have seen from last season) were the highest scoring dances in the entire competition.
