What happened to Fortnite?

I ve been playing Fortnite Battle Royale since the official release of the game, I fell in love with it since the very beginning but it s been hard these past few seasons to continue to play and upload it with the circumstances it s in right now. I took a break & im slowly getting back into it. Epic Games is in a state where the game developers do not know who to cater to, It seems like there trying to turn this game into a fully Esports professional game and AT THE SAME TIME there trying to cater to us people who just wanna enjoy the game like we used to. Theres no longer fun items or vehicles that come out, We ve been stuck with the same content for months and yes we might have gotten a few new things added or removed but this just aint it. I love this game and i understand that as time progresses its hard for game developers to work on a game that s honestly becoming pretty old. Creativity is a limit due to our toxic community, anything they add automatically gets trashed on by most of the community including me lol. I wish we could just go back in time to some old fortnite season 1 nostalgia but it is what it is.
