"Chainsawed" rear corners, designers say, helped visually reduce mass at the rear and create the illusion of a car some 10 inches shorter. The Charger s interior also is almost completely redesigned. Meanwhile, the Charger now has eight-speed automatic transmissions across the board, and the availability of all-wheel drive has been extended to the entry-level SE trim.
