Building a Front Door for My Off Grid Log Cabin, Ep26

The first frost of the season has arrived so I am focusing on doors, windows and exterior finishes to keep the cold and the rodents out. Since I don t have time right now to fully carve the front door of the cabin, I design and build a heavy pine and walnut door with a 3" thick wood insert that I can pull out of the door to carve inside the warm cabin as I have time over the winter. A friend visits to hunt and explore the wilderness around the cabin with me and as a result, I don t make much progress on the building this week.
