I haven t done much with pop/rock music yet on my channel, but it s definitely a genre that I really enjoy experimenting with. I really love this melody so I thought I d share my rendition of it to see what you think :) For the arrangement, I made the backtrack on the computer, and then recorded a total of 8 separate violin/electric violin parts to fill in with harmonies and rhythms. The video style is obviously much different than anything else I have on my channel...The video was taken by someone in my family (who had never operated a digital camera before so that s why it s so shaky haha) and then edited by me. We filmed for about 40 minutes before it got way too hot out and we started melting lol. I know it s totally not professional but everyone has to start somewhere lol. Even though the editing process was difficult for me, I had a lot of fun trying this out and I think it s at least an improvement from the room I normally record in ;)
