Check Out the New 2019 BMW 8 Series! | M850i FIRST LOOK

Let s take a first look and walkaround of the brand new BMW 8 Series! This particular car is the 2019 M850i xDrive Coupe, finished in Sunset Orange paintwork. For BMW it is a return of the 8 Series line after nearly 20 years, however with sportscar very much the aim for the new model, let s explore how it mixes sporty styling with the luxury on the interior. So, what do you think of the new BMW 8 Series? This particular model is the M850i with a 4.4l TwinPower Turbo V8, making 530hp and 750nm which means 0-100km/h (0-62mph) in a staggering 3.7 seconds thanks to the xDrive all wheel drive system. It s one of two models as part of the launch line-up alongside the 840d with a 3.0l turbo inline-6 making 320hp and 680nm that s still able to reach 100km/h in just 4.9 seconds. On the interior we have the new Live Cockpit display, combined with the latest generation of the entertainment systems, but also new seats and unique touches to the 8 Series. After getting started with a quick walkaround to take a look at the highlights, we can dive more into the specifc details that mark out the new 8 Series. Although based on the 7 Series platform, it s developed as its own model with an ethos targeting a mix of luxury with a sportscar driving exeperience, more akin to that of the 5 Series.
