Petchaburi is known for its food that’s on the sweet side, Thai desserts, and palm sugar. I this video, it was my first time to walk around the center of the city of Petchaburi, and we found some rare Thai street food dishes for breakfast. Khao chae (ข้าวแช่) - 25 THB - One of the most famous dishes to eat in Petchaburi is Khao chae (ข้าวแช่). We tried it from a legendary street food stall across the street from the market called Khoa Chae Ba Ean (ร้านข้าวแช่ป้าเอื้อน). The dish is typically served only during the hot season. It includes rice and water scented with jasmine flowers, and combined with ice cubes. You then eat that ice rice with a variety of sweet candy and savory snacks. It’s a very interesting combination and you’re not sure if it’s a main dish or a dessert. Khanom jeen sao nam (ขนมจีนซาวน้ำ) - 20 THB - Right around the corner from the khao chae is another equally popular Thai street food stall in Petchaburi that serves a variety of different khanom jeen noodles and curry. One of the dishes they serve that rare to find is called sao nam, a combination of coconut cream, dry shrimp, pineapple, and garlic. It’s an amazing and unique combination. It was a quick stop in Petchaburi, but I really enjoyed its peaceful charm, and especially the delicious noodles for breakfast. Thank you for watching, hope you’re having a fantastic day! 🎵MUSIC: http://share.epidemicsound.com/CNfD7 —————————————————— 🍌100% Real Durian Chips - Order Here: http://pixelfy.me/uY4K5z 👕Get t-shirts and caps: https://migrationology.com/store/ —————————————————— 📱FOLLOW: Instagram: https://instagram.com/migrationology Facebook: https://www.facebook.com/migrationology
