Destruct command! Japan s new H3 rocket fails to deliver payload to orbit

Japans first H3 rocket launch ended with an anomaly that forced JAXA mission control to transmit a destruct command to the vehicle. The rocket launched from the Tanegashima Space Center on March 6, 2023 (0137 GMT on March 7) carrying the Advanced Land Observing Satellite-3 (ALOS-3).
