Exploring Round 2 with: Exploring with Josh: https://www.youtube.com/user/theartofrealitycrew Exploring with Cody: https://www.youtube.com/user/SirCodyBuffinton La Catapixia: https://www.youtube.com/channel/UC0ObSthjbDAFOuLV-JjZIXw My friends are back for a second trip around Mexico City checking out Abandoned Places. Mexico is full of haunted, creepy, and forgotten buildings, happy to have them back for some urbex! On our first night we went to Plaza Garibaldi, one of the most famous places in CDMX to see Mariachis. All through this area you can see hundreds of men dressed up in fancy clothing, serenading groups with traditional music. It s great place to eat, dance, and drink. It s full of locals, and it s very popular. I had a special challenge here for them. It was a surprise. I wasn t sure if everyone would think it was fun, but I know it was going to be a good travel vlog so... It would be worth it. In Plaza Garibaldi there is a drinking game called Los Toques Electricos. When you arrive there, you have to listen. You can hear a man walking around with two metal handles, clinking them together. This man has a box around his neck with cigars, gum, and a device that can deliver a 100V current to anyone brave enough to try. This is Los Toques. You hold the metal handles and he turns the dial to 10V, the skull ornament glows red, and the game begins. He told me tourists typically make it to 50V, but Mexicans often make it to 70V. You can try the game solo, or all hold hands in a circle, the shock delivered is the same. The point is to one-up your friends, and set the high score. Was it painful? Actually, I wouldn t describe it as pain. The feeling was similar to when your arm or leg falls asleep in the beginning, an aggressive tingle. One it hits about 40, it feels like you arms are two cans of compressed air, and are about to burst open. You cannot let go at this point, all your muscles in your arms are contracting as hard as they can. You are at the mercy of the operator. I would do this again. It was an amazing amount of fun. Just another unbelievable thing to film in country so full of unbelievable things. Excited to share more. ----------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- ϟ My Camera Gear ϟ Main Camera: http://geni.us/MyCamera My Favourite Lens: http://geni.us/Sony1635mm My 2nd Favourite Lens: http://geni.us/Sony90mm Low Light/Portrait Lens: http://geni.us/Sony55mm Love this Microphone: http://geni.us/RODEMic My SD Cards: http://geni.us/SanDiskPRO Camera Clips: http://geni.us/PDClip Cool Gadget to switch Lenses: http://geni.us/PDLensKit My Camera Strap: http://geni.us/PDStrap Keeping Safe on Rainy Days: http://geni.us/PDRainShell Great Tripod with a Funny Name: http://geni.us/Tripod This new Gimbal I love: http://geni.us/NewGimbal My Flying Camera: http://geni.us/DJI4K ----------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- ☎ Say Hi Here ☎ ✧ Snapchat: kickthegrind ✧ Instagram: http://www.instagram.com/kickthegrind ✧ Tweetz: http://www.twitter.com/KickTheGrind ✧ Facebook Fanpage: http://www.facebook.com/KicktheGrindTV ----------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- ✯ Experiences over Possessions ✯ Kick the Grind ✯ -----------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
