17-inch Habanero Burger Challenge in Texas!!

A&Z #837 - Atlas vs Black Meg 43 s 17-inch "Stampede" Habanero Burger Challenge at Black Meg 43 in Copperas Cove, Texas. We decided to kick off my 2020 food challenges on my 34th birthday which was June 24, 2020. I attempted 10 restaurant eating challenges around central Texas, mostly between the DFW area and Austin, Texas. For event #8, I traveled over to Copperas Cove, Texas where I attempted the 17-inch long "Stampede" Burger Challenge at Black Meg 43 which got its name from a Scottish cow many years ago. I had 30 minutes to finish a whole lot of food. There were six 1/3 lb Angus beef burger patties on a 17-inch long French baguette loaf, topped with bacon, 7 oz of nacho cheese, and some healthy vegetables. The burger came with a side of fries and bag of fruit snacks, and was topped with a very spicy fresh habanero pepper. I was trying to win my $32 meal free, a sweet hat, and a coveted spot on Black Meg 43 s Wall of Fame. HUGE thanks to the Black Meg 43 ownership and staff for the great food and hospitality!! ($32): – Black Meg 43 in Copperas Cove, Texas has been hosting this food challenge for a few years now. – There are six 1/3 lb Angus beef burger patties on a 17-inch long French baguette bread loaf. – The beef is topped with slices of bacon, their mayo-based "Meg Sauce," and 7 oz nacho cheese. – The challenge includes a side of fries, a bag of fruit snacks, and a spicy fresh habanero pepper. – There is only a 30 minute time limit, so good luck and be sure to plan your strategy beforehand!! – Winners receive the $32 meal free, a sweet hat, and spot on their Wall of Fame!!
