http://bit.ly/XTPresRevPro The REV Pro gets updated with Graphene XT, the 2nd generation of Head s polarized weight system. The upshot is easier access to power. Like its predecessor, this light 11 ounces stick puts a surgical 93in² head into a speedy package. As a result, the REV Pro should enable a wider cross section of intermediates to join the midsize party. This one also features Head s Dynamic 16x19 String Pattern, which tightens the center mains for control but leaves the edges open to mitigate off center shock. The result on court is great control and a surprisingly generous feeling sweetspot. Factor in the low flex (59 RA) and you have good shock absorption, and a comfortable feel. From the baseline this racquet swings fast and delivers noticeably more power than a traditional midsize racquet. The quick handling also helps in the spin department where the REV Pro turns explosive upward cuts into impressive spin. At net the REV Pro places an emphasis on speed and pop. Players in need of more torsional stability may have to sit this one out as there isn t much customization room north of the throat (unless you want a swingweight over 335 RDC). Finally, aggressive servers who swing this one fast will find enough power and accuracy to do some damage. Although this racquet is a big departure from the great Prestiges of yesteryear, the REV Pro is a worthy demo for the player who wants a speedy midsize racquet with a nice blend of power, spin and precision.
