Super Deluxe 26" Party Pizza Challenge in Virginia!!

A&Z #1018 - professional eater Randy Santel versus RJ s Super Deluxe 26" Party Pizza Challenge at RJ s Pizza in Galax, Virginia. After finishing up with moving the rest of my stuff up to our new house in Milwaukee, Wisconsin I took a week off to get settled in. Then, @KatinaEatsKilos and I flew to Knoxville, Tennessee to kick off a week-long food challenge trip around eastern Tennessee, Virginia, and New Jersey. I wanted to attempt a few restaurant eating challenges before starting my 9-month dietetic internship in Milwaukee. We each attempted 7 different food challenges during the trip. For food challenge #3, Katina and I headed over to Galax, Virginia so we each could help kick off and become the first 2 people to attempt the 6+lb massive Super Deluxe 26" Party Pizza Challenge at RJ s Pizza which was so delicious!!. Katina went first and then I had 1 hour to finish one of their popular 26"x17" rectangular-shaped "Party" Pizzas weighing over 6lbs and covered with shredded white Cheddar cheese rather than the typical mozzarella cheese on Italian pizzas. I ordered RJ s signature "Super Deluxe" specialty pizza which was loaded with meaty pepperoni, sausage, ham, hamburger, and then lots of healthy vegetables - green peppers, black olives, mushrooms, onions, banana peppers, and more. I was trying to become the 2nd person to win my $30 pizza free plus a sweet t-shirt, a groovy hat, and a spot on RJ s Wall of Fame!!
