BRIJWASI CHAT BHANDAR: Bun Tikki + Special Dahi Bhalla Chaat ADDRESS: Cooper Road,, Queens Road., INA Colony, Amritsar (Directions) OPEN: 11AM - 8PM Brijwasi Chat Bhandar opened 60 years ago and has become one of the most famous craving-satisfying restaurants in Amritsar. 🥪Bun Tikki Tikki (the sandwich stuffing) is made by mashing boiled potatoes, lentil, peas, paneer, green chili, red chili powder, black pepper, ginger and dried fenugreek leaves. Pair this indulgent sandwich with sweet red chutney, made with dates and tamarind, and sour green chutney, made with green chillies, mint and coriander. PRICE: .54 USD/40 INR per plate 🥄Special Dahi Bhalla Soak lentil until it becomes a paste, add dried fruits and fry. Then soak it in water for 15-20 minutes, until it becomes soggy. The patty is then fried in tons of ghee and topped with coriander and chaat masala. It is served on Kulcha (mildly leavened flatbread) and topped with onions and chutney. PRICE: 3.25 USD/240 INR per plate (2 pieces) KULCHA PRICE: .14 USD/10 INR per piece 🍖Mutton Tikka Mutton pieces are marinated in red chili powder, turmeric and salt for 6 hours.
