Slow-Motion Wingsuit Parachute Deployment
See more at: http://www.wingsuitfly.com/deployment 1) The wingsuiter drops his knees to create drag - reducing forward speed to make the parachute opening softer. Symmetry prevents accidental turns which can lead to line twists. 2) The wingsuiter pulls the pilot chute out of the base of container pocket by its handle and throws it behind him. This acts as an air anchor to release the closing pin that keeps the container shut. 3) Now the closing pin is out, the pilot chute continues to pull the black deployment bag out of the container and in turn pull deployment bag off of the parachute. 4) As the deployment bag has released the parachute to the air stream, air can start to enter the nose of the canopy which will slowly cause it to inflate. The wingsuiter is already being pulled upright by the drag. Facebook: http://www.facebook.com/wingsuiting
