Trevor Kavanagh On Labour s By-Election Results - "The Failure To Win In Uxbridge Is A Big Loss"

The Conservative Party beat Labour in Uxbridge and South Ruislip by just 495 votes in the by-elections. Both parties suggested plans by Labour Mayor Sadiq Khan's to expand London's Ultra Low Emission Zone (ULEZ) played a part in the defeat. Mr Kavanagh said: "The failure to win Uxbridge is a big loss for Labour but the main thing here is ULEZ and the £12 bill for coming into town."
