Crabby Joe s Surf N Turf Burger Challenge!! (From Man vs Food)

Back in July 2019, I was still on my 2019 summer tour and en route around Florida for some food challenges. I stopped in Daytona Beach Shores, Florida at Crabby Joe s Deck and Grill on Sunglow Pier to meet up with my friend Nathan Figueroa and attempt their famous Surf N Turf Burger Challenge which was absolutely delicious and featured on a recent episode of Man vs Food. Nathan and I each had a one sitting time limit to finish everything, including two 1/2 lb bacon cheeseburgers, fish fillets, and 7 pickle spears, all surrounded by fries. Thanks to Crabby Joe s ownership and staff for the wonderful hospitality, and to everyone who came to watch and meet us that end-of-July evening!! Food ($20): – There are two 1/2 lb bacon cheeseburger patties plus multiple fried fish fillets. – There are two pieces of Texas Toast in the middle to add some structure. – There are lots of healthy vegetables – lettuce, tomatoes, pickles, and onions. – The challenge includes some fries and a one sitting time limit to finish it all. – Everyone pays $20 for the meal (win or lose), but winners get a sweet t-shirt and spot of Wall of Fame!!
