When I started making this film, I had no idea I was about to live the hardest year of my life. While grieving the loss of my best friend, and facing internal battles, I was trying not to crack under the pressure of a planning and completing a world tour. There were many times I looked into the mirror and asked myself "Am I Brave enough?" But it was important to me to be vulnerable and to allow myself to feel everything, so that in numbing the bad I didn’t also numb the good. Yes this year was an emotional roller coaster but I ve had some of the greatest experiences of my life along the way, I ve gained empathy and I feel stronger than ever before.
