In a large mixing bowl, whisk together all the other ingredients and allow to sit for 10 minutes. 2) Heat your oil to 350 degrees. Toss your lit’l smoky sausages in flour, then skewer with toothpicks. Fully submerge in batter vertically, then remove, and carefully drop in hot oil. Fry for about 3 minutes, occasionally turning to get full oil coverage. 3) Remove when golden brown, and allow to drain on paper towels. 4) Whisk all remoulade ingredients together. Serve with corn puppies. Pimento Cheese Monkey Bread Ingredients Pimento cheese * 2 cups shredded cheddar cheese * 1 8 oz block of room temp cream cheese * 1/4 cup mayonnaise * ½ cup drained pimento, chopped fine * 4 strips of cooked bacon, chopped fine * 1 tsp worcestershire sauce * ½ tsp cayenne pepper * ½ tsp garlic powder * ½ tsp mustard powder * ¾ tsp salt * ½ tsp black pepper Bisquick Monkey Bread * 5 cups bisquick * 1 cup cold milk/buttermilk * Olive oil + softened butter, for greasing the pan * ½ cup shredded cheddar cheese 1) Combine all the pimento cheese ingredients together and set aside in the fridge to chill. 2) While the cheese is chilling, begin working your dough. Add bisquick to a bowl and stream in the buttermilk, using your hands to combine it. Work until you get a pliable dough you can roll and seal into a ball. 3) Begin to make balls, flatten them out, put a tablespoon of pimento cheese inside, and seal. Do this until your balls are all sealed. 4) Oil & butter a bundt cake pan well. Add a layer of shredded cheese. Add the balls. Add more cheese. Add more balls! Cook until fully done and golden brown, about 40 minutes at 350. 5) Remove and brush with more oil and butter. Top with more shredded cheese and chopped parsley.
