Eating Mexican CHICHARRÓN with Exploring with Cody | Mexico City Street Food 2018
Mexico City street food is some of the best and tastiest around! Exploring with Cody and I found the Mexican specialty of chicharron in Chapultepec Park (Bosque de Chapultepec) and thought we should try it! Having lived in Mexico City for almost a year, I had surprisingly not tried this Mexican snack, but I had seen it everywhere. Trying it is definitely one of the top things to do in Mexico There are several different kinds of Chicharrón. Some made with flour, and others made the traditional way of deep frying pig fat. We tried it 2 different ways. Chicharrón preparada, with avacado, tomato, cueritos, cream, cabbage, and salsas. Also Chicharrón solita, with just some sauces, Tajin, salt and Lime. After making this video, I learned that maybe we had made a mistake... Are both of these flour? Or is one actually the real one? I need to stop asking the shop keepers for information, I think they just answer "Yes" to every question so I buy their food 😐 Mexico is so much more than just tacos. There is god level street food here, allowing for some great food videos.
