Hey guys, in this video I m building a tiny house using mini bricks, scrap wood and other mini materials. This mini house has working lights and a ceiling fan for those hot summer days. The garage at the beginning of the video was built in a previous video: https://youtu.be/QOgcqlVHrYQ Timestamps 00:00 Preview 00:18 Getting the bricks 01:32 Preparing the mortar 01:56 Laying the bricks 02:39 Installing windows 02:48 Brickwork continues 03:27 More windows & bricklaying 05:10 So satisfying! 05:55 Cleaning up the seams 06:41 Preparing the grout 07:06 Filling in the seams 08:28 Installing flooring 09:09 Front door 09:44 Ceiling - 1st floor 10:20 Lights - 1st floor 10:53 Walls - 2nd floor 11:23 Flooring - 2nd floor 11:39 Building the roof 12:02 Plywood walls, roof 12:17 Trimwork 12:50 Installing siding 13:06 installing roof shingles 13:57 Building the electrical panel 14:14 Wiring up the panel 15:17 Finished Mini Materials used: Mini Bricks set: https://amzn.to/3DLt99V Mini Hinges: https://amzn.to/3d4hLI3 LED Lights: https://amzn.to/3mkyHjv Sonic Tooth Brush: https://amzn.to/3SIQRvt Hot Glue Gun: https://amzn.to/43dLMzl - For the base I used 1/4 inch plywood and began to lay the bricks. - The mini pallet, windows and the door were made using scrap wood I had laying around. - After the brickwork was complete I cleaned up the extra mortar and washed the surface with a sonic toothbrush which cleans 5 times better than an ordinary toothbrush. - I then used black tile grout to fill in the seams of the brickwork, this adds a nice contrast and character to the building. - I then laid down the flooring in the living room, kitchen and office / library. - I used tiny hinges to mount the door to the door post, I used a punch to drive the nails in the rest of the way since I didn t have a mini hammer handy. For the door handle I used a large staple. - I framed the entire house using scrap wood I had laying around. - Next, I ran all the electrical wiring and for the LED lighting and the ceiling fan upstairs. - I installed siding and the trim pieces which were painted beforehand. - Lastly, I laid down the roofing material and wired up the junction box. ➤Subscribe to DIY Garage: https://www.youtube.com/c/diygarage7?sub_confirmation=1 Please click the "🔔" next to the SUBSCRIBE button and you ll be notified of when we upload new videos. _________________________________________ -Music: "Darkest Child var A", "Scheming Weasel Slower Version" - Kevin MacLeod (incompetech.com) Licensed under Creative Commons: By Attribution 3.0 License http://creativecommons.org/licenses/by/3.0/ "Brewing Potions", "Sings in the fields", "Creepy Comedy" - Rafael Krux (orchestralis.net) License: CC BY (http://creativecommons.org/licenses/by/4.0/)
