BEAST S attention by Douglas and his side kick Little Paulie that back in 1980, German film maker Werner Herzog, boiled and ate one of his leather shoes after losing a bet. After watching the documentary "Werner Herzog Eats His Shoe", the L.A. BEAST became inspired to also prepare, cook, and eat a pair of shoes that are near and dear to his heart and by doing so forever carry the memories of the special occasions that he has had while wearing them. After spending 6 hours preparing and cooking his special shoes, the L.A. BEAST realized very quickly that eating shoes is a lot harder than it seems and that they are much better off on your feet than in your mouth.
