New Yorkers are given the chance to "Say something nice" with a mysterious podium and megaphone. Backstory: http://improveverywhere.com/2011/08/22/say-something-nice/ SUBSCRIBE: https://www.youtube.com/subscription_center?add_user=ImprovEverywhere JOIN US: http://improveverywhere.com/email-lists/ For our latest mission we constructed a custom wooden lectern with a megaphone holster and an attached sign that read, "Say Something Nice." The lectern was placed in public spaces around New York and then left alone. We wanted to see what would happen if New Yorkers were given the opportunity to amplify their voices to "say something nice." This project was produced by Improv Everywhere as part of the Guggenheim Museum exhibition stillspotting nyc. Produced by Charlie Todd http://improveverywhere.com/charlie_todd/ Produced and Edited by Matt Adams: http://www.mattadamsapple.com/ Music by Tyler Walker http://tylerwalkermusic.com Lectern designed by: Jason Eppink and Alex Young http://www.guggenheim.org/stillspotting Full credits: http://improveverywhere.com/2011/08/22/say-something-nice/ This is one of over 100 different missions Improv Everywhere has executed over the past ten years in New York City. Others include Frozen Grand Central, the Food Court Musical, and the famous No Pants Subway Ride, to name a few.
